Current Things.

I’m sorry.

I’m sorry I’ve been MIA. I’m sorry there has been NO food in the last way too long. I’m sorry that I’m failing as a blogger and that you’ve probably removed me from your email notifications.

Please don’t leave. I’ll be up and running in no time.

I just moved into an apartment – and have Pinterest crafts to share with you soon! – and started grad school yesterday.

I’m in that awkward funk where I feel like a lost puppy, trying to make friends and figure out where I’m supposed to go. I had to ask TWICE where the girl’s locker room is, and I almost ran to catch the bus. I had a harsh realization in class that I have 3 more years of this torture until I can become what I’ve dreamed of: a registered dietitian.

In the meantime, food will be my outlet. I will cook and share it with you. Lately, I’ve been living off of salads, ice cream, pasta, quesadillas, and take-out. None of those foods are blog worthy. But it will all change soon, just bear with me.

In the meantime, some chocolate recipes to get you through? To transition from summer to school, or summer to fall, or just to hold your hand while my other recipes are in the works?

You may have already written about this, but which grad school? I did my RD/MPH at UNC! You mentioned three years and instantly thought of Chapel Hill…

So cool! I’m getting my masters at UNCG. I considered CH but wanted to have my masters in Nutrition rather than Public Health. That is awesome, though! Do you practice in CH?

I’m still with you! But WAIT. As for the commenter above…if you are at Chapel Hill, guess where I’m going to be this weekend? Erik and I are flying into Charleston Wednesday night and driving up the coast to end at UNC where my friend is getting her PhD. If you are in the area, let me know if you would want to/have time to meet up for a meal or something!
