21-Day Detox

I’m doing it.


I’ve always wanted to do a detox and have toyed with the idea of 3-day liquid detoxes or 7-day smoothie and salad detoxes but this one just feels right. Whole foods. Real foods. 21 days of wholesome, natural, delicious vegetables and lentils and nuts and fruits. Yes yes yes.

I’ve been totally inspired by this girl and she said it’s absolutely doable. She didn’t die or starve or crack, which means that [hopefully] I won’t either.


Also, this will be a period of experimentation. I have never eaten beets [vegetarian felony?] and don’t really like cauliflower. So. This is my chance. My chance to love something new. And to fall in love with my body all over again.

After a few too many Girl Scout Cookies and a little too strong of a love for cheese, I think this is exactly what I need. Post-Valentine’s Day, Post-Christmas, post-all-those-excuses.


Here with go. I’ve convinced a couple people to join me. Will you?

    Good luck on your detox. I'm planning to do one as well, but I'm slightly terrified. I think beets are an acquired taste. I love them, especially with goat cheese (although I'm fairly certain goat cheese isn't allowed on detox!) 🙂
