What’s better than waking up to chocolate?
Not a whole lot. Maybe if someone brought you the chocolatey breakfast in your bed and then proceeded to give you a massage? Okay, true. That would be better.
But this is pretty close. We all know that chocolate and raspberry is the perfect combination. Especially for breakfast, but honestly it is wonderful at anytime during the day. Aaaand the Lifeway kefir gives it a nice thick texture with bonus(!) probiotics.
Overnight oats are completely under the radar but should be rejoiced by more people. They’re the easiest, most delicious breakfast there is. And so versatile! Yum. I can’t wait to try a bazillion different recipes. I actually ate overnight oats every.single.morning for several months but didn’t blog about it because I was cranky and since no one was delivering them to my bed or massaging my back, I wasn’t pleasant enough to tell you about it.
All you little lovebirds out there? Treat your significant other to something delicious. Make these overnight oats and surprise them with breakfast in bed and a massage. Make July count.
Raspberry Chocolate Overnight Oats
1/3 c old-fashioned oats
1/3 c Lifeway raspberry kefir
1/3 c plain non-fat yogurt
1/4 c raspberries
1/8 c cacao nibs (or chocolate chips)
1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and place in refrigerator. Allow to absorb overnight, and warm in microwave for 1 1/2-2 minutes in the morning!
