Ultimate Chocolate Oat Balls

These babies are delicious. They are so addicting and perfect and probably require a serious workout afterwards. Like this workout, called the I Like Cupcakes Workout. How appropriate is that? I mean, let’s be real. If you’re a baker and want to have some form of shape to your body, you probbbbably have to exercise.

Yes, it sucks. I plug and chug away for at least an hour every day. But wanting to be a dietitian, I have to keep some form of shape to avoid turning into a blob. Customers (patients?) don’t listen to blobs who bake brownies and chocolate oat balls day in and day out.

Anyway, let me just tell you about this workout. Homegirl expects you to do this workout three times, which definitely didn’t happen. Luckily, I had a time constraint and could only exercise for an hour. I got through about 1 1/2 rounds of this evil scheme of a workout in an hour.

If you did this workout three times, you would definitely deserve a cupcake. Or two. Or the whole batch. Don’t get me wrong – it’s a good workout. But it’s intense. A good intense. Make sure you have a friend and some good music.

But, enough with the workout talk. You came here to salivate over food, no? This post is definitely saliva-worthy. Is that gross? Sorry. That was gross. But these oat balls are the perfect amount of tangy from the cream cheese, sweet from the dark chocolate flavored cream cheese and white chocolate chips, fruitiness from the dried cranberries and crunchiness from the oats.

If I made these regularly, blob-dom (blobiness?) would ensue. Better crank out a good two rounds of that workout tomorrow… Maybe do some superman pushups. No big deal.
